As a Coconino County Superior Court Judge Pro Tem, Brent D. Harris was assigned the family docket and handled hundreds of cases during his tenure, from the most cooperative to the most contentious. He also conducted numerous settlement conferences with the goal of achieving an outcome that was in the best interests of the children, while also being fair to the parent. In Arizona, the goal is a meaningful, substantial, ongoing relationship between the child and both parents. At this time, we are more focused on dissolution matters involving property, debt and asset allocation for families where the children are over the age of 18, but we hope to expand back into all family law areas in the near future. We are also happy to provide professional, private, legally trained mediation to families going through this painful process that are hoping to avoid the stress, cost and time that litigation in family law takes.
Adoptions
One of the happiest things any attorney can do is to help families grow by way of adoption. While the circumstances leading to adoption can be as varied as the families and children involved, we are sensitive to the needs of the families going through this process, and are more than happy to help.
